After having worked as a gynaecologist in the African country, Ivory Coast, a French lady had the house built on the foundations of two 19th century farmhouses. She had it built for herself and her husband, a professor on pedagogy. In 2001, sixteen years after the building was completed both he and she passed away. Since they had no children they years before decided the community of Sailly should inherit the house.

The main house has 7 bedrooms, 6 showers and 6 toilets. It also has a 'gite' with 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, a toilet and showers of its own.
The small house offers a livingroom, a bedroom, a kitchen, a toilet and a shower, all for use by 4 people.
On the 1st floor you find an apartment (two pers.) with studio.

Guests may place a caravan on the domaine, but only for a short period. Ask Joep for details.

In the 'pigeonnier' (pigeon-house) a small chapel (below) and a room for meditation (upstairs) are found.

The grounds of Ange Gardien are guarded by two cats, who find their sleeping place in the stable. Furthermore, our guests may experience some encounters with 'all kinds of creatures, great and small' such as lizards, birds, moles and hedgehogs.
Dogs of guests are only permitted on request and strictly outside of the main house.

The house is a NON-SMOKING AREA.
In open air smoking is permitted.
